About Us
Intercity Transport Terminal Limited (ITTL) was established in 2013 by a consortium of financial experts, Transport expert, Real Estate Developers, and International and Local Nigeria Investors who recognise that public transport infrastructure plays a vital role in the operation and function of an efficient, convenient, safe, secure and accessible by all public transport system. They also appreciate that an appropriate infrastructure forms an important part of the customer (passenger) experience and helps to make public transport a competitive viable alternative to private vehicle travel.
ITTL has a vision of making travel easy. In order to achieve our vision, high quality infrastructure needs to be matched with efficient and reliable services. We believe that planning and delivery of quality infrastructure needs to be a key element of the public transport system. Embedded in our strategy is the aim to create a seamless and consistent passenger (customer) experience at the terminal and to manage the terminal by providing additional capacity to meet future demand.
One of our key policies is to develop a high quality and frequent public and active transport network linked to main activity centres and significant trip generators and to support public transport use with new infrastructure and improved services. We identify a need for transport infrastructure to support more sustainable travel in the region. Our aim is to ensure that the Abuja Bus Terminal is designed with a consistent approach to provide high quality customer access, convenience, safety and comfort.
